At Aloha State Hockey, we believe hockey has the power to bring people together, build lifelong friendships, and create opportunities that extend far beyond the rink. ​ Our organization is made up of two parts working toward one shared purpose: ​ Aloha State Hockey Co. — our lifestyle apparel brand Aloha State Hockey Foundation — our 501(c)(3) nonprofit ​ Together, they allow us to celebrate hockey culture while helping make the game more accessible throughout Hawai'i.

Our Founders
Roy Lezada co-founded Aloha State Hockey Foundation after experiencing firsthand the financial and logistical challenges Hawaiʻi families face when pursuing travel and tournament hockey opportunities.

A certified Project Management Professional with more than a decade of experience leading complex healthcare and technology initiatives, Roy provides strategic direction for the Foundation and oversees its programs, partnerships, and long-term development. He also leads the creative direction of Aloha State Hockey Co., using apparel and collaboration to celebrate Hawaiʻi’s hockey community and support the Foundation’s mission.

As a hockey player, coach, and father of two young athletes, Roy is committed to creating more opportunities for Hawaiʻi players to compete, develop, and represent the islands.
Mandy Lezada oversees the day-to-day operations of Aloha State Hockey Foundation, helping turn its mission into organized, sustainable programs for Hawaiʻi hockey families. Her responsibilities include administration, event and travel logistics, apparel production, order fulfillment, and community coordination.

A former elementary school educator and martial arts instructor, Mandy brings extensive experience supporting young people, working with families, and creating environments where children can grow with confidence and discipline. As an experienced competitor herself, she also understands the preparation and financial commitment required for athletes to compete beyond Hawaiʻi.
